The purpose of this course is to equip healthcare providers with essential knowledge on safe, compliant prescribing practices for controlled substances within Michigan. Focusing on legal guidelines, risk management, and best practices for preventing misuse, this course provides physicians with strategies to optimize patient care while adhering to state regulations. Participants will gain insight into responsible opioid prescribing, patient assessment, and ongoing monitoring to support effective and safe treatment protocols.
