The purpose of this course is to equip providers with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide compassionate, patient-centered end-of-life care. Participants will explore critical topics, including effective communication with patients and families, advanced care planning, pain and symptom management, cultural and ethical considerations, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the psychological and emotional needs of patients and their families, fostering dignity, and ensuring quality of life in the final stages of life. By integrating evidence-based practices and a holistic approach, this course aims to enhance medical professionals’ ability to navigate the complexities of end-of-life care, ultimately improving outcomes and satisfaction for all stakeholders involved.
